Questions people ask us
The short answers.
What we do, who it is for, what it costs and how we work. If your question is not here, just ask.
What does Analogiq do?
We're an AI consultancy for businesses with valuable data but no in-house AI team. You bring us your commercial challenge, and we turn it into a clear technical plan. Our own engineers deliver the solution, working with the data and platforms you already have. We also modernise digital platforms like Sitecore, Uniform, and composable DXPs. That's actually where we started.
Who is Analogiq for?
We help businesses that want to use AI but do not have dedicated AI specialists. Most of our clients are mid-sized, usually between 100 and 1,000 people, based in the UK and Europe. They want expert help without the costs of the big consultancies. Our clients include Capco, Keith Prowse, SunLife, Jet2, Wilderness Destinations, and the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
What results have you delivered?
We focus on outcomes you can measure. That includes a 12:1 return on a data-driven optimisation programme for a global commercial bank, over £1 million in confirmed sales from AI personalisation for Capco, rebuilding a global platform in 120 days, doubling conversion and halving acquisition cost for Wilderness, and a 29 percent lift in donation page visits for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. We always share the numbers our clients have seen.
How do you work?
We always start with your business problem, not with technology trends. We find the best opportunity to tackle first, get your data in shape, and then build the simplest solution that delivers value. We do not treat AI as a technology project without a business goal. The project is shaped around the outcome you actually need and the evidence you need to prove it.
What is the first step?
The first step is a short discovery conversation. We look at the process, the data and the business outcome you care about, then we tell you whether this is a problem worth solving with AI, and what the smallest credible first build would look like. If the answer is still no, we say that clearly and early.
Can you work with our existing platform?
Yes. We assume your platform is part of the solution unless it clearly blocks the outcome. We have built on Sitecore, Uniform, composable stacks, and a wide range of internal systems. The goal is to work in your estate, under your controls, not to push you into a new platform unless the evidence says it is necessary.
Do you only do AI?
No. We started as a digital platform and experience consultancy, and that still matters. AI is part of the toolkit, but we also help teams modernise the digital platforms and data foundations underneath the work. The business problem is the driver, not the hype cycle.
How do you measure success?
We agree the metric before anything is built. That means a clear business outcome, the data needed to support it, and the threshold the system has to hit before it is trusted. Not a demo. Not a splashy but unmeasured number. A measure that fits the job and is visible to the people who own it.
Do you help with data readiness?
Yes. We often start there. The first question is not “What model should we use?” It is “What data do we actually need for this job, is it trustworthy, and can it be used safely?” Without that, most AI projects fail by trying to automate a process they do not understand and cannot measure.
Can we keep using our current team?
Yes. We are designed to work with your internal team rather than around them. We bring structure, specialist capability and delivery discipline, and we hand over the working system with the knowledge and operational pattern to run it after the work is done.
Do you do retainers?
Sometimes. Many clients want a retained partnership after the initial build, especially when they are scaling their AI capability or need regular strategy and optimisation input. We can support that, but we still start every engagement by identifying the first value and proving it before we widen scope.
What is AI in the Wild?
AI in the Wild is our community for people using AI in real businesses. We host meetups, run the F{AIL}s podcast, and produce research, all focused on practical detail rather than just what is possible in theory. Everyone is welcome.
Still have a question? Ask us directly.
Where do I start?
Tell us what is slow, expensive or manual.
We will tell you honestly whether AI is the answer, what form it would take, and what a first build looks like. If the honest answer is not yet, we will say that too.
